Somerset Regional Tourism Assn Inc
About SRTAIWelcome to the Somerset Regional Tourism Association Inc, the tourism body for the Brisbane Valley & Valley of the Lakes region. We are recognized by the Somerset Regional Council, Brisbane Marketing & Tourism Queensland, & liase with them to improve tourism within the region. The SRTAI meet on the first Tuesday of every month (except January). These also include networking meetings, held at members’ premises, & inviting guest speakers along to meetings. A newsletter is also sent to each member monthly, usually by email. The Association is working to improve exposure of the area as a great place to visit, either for day trips, overnight stays, or longer holidays. One of these is organizing familiarisation tours for television & newspaper media, marketing & tourism organizations, & other related businesses. The trip showcasing the northern area of the region was successfully held earlier this year, & two more are being planned for the central & southern areas. To help increase exposure for the area, the SRTAI has commissioned this website – www.somersettourism.com.au. It is hoped that this website will entice visitors to the area, by providing them with information about tourism operators & general information about the Somerset region. The website will be regularly updated to include new businesses & events, & of course, new members of the Association. Somerset Tourism Website Member FacilitiesEach SRTAI member paying a once off fee of $55-00 for website listing will receive the following whilst remaining a member of SRTAI:
