Time: 8:30 AM
Location: Fernvale Futures Complex and Brisbane Valley Rail Trail
RSPCA's inaugural Million Paws Walk kicked off in 1994 in Queensland. Since then, the event has become the RSPCA’s flagship annual fundraising event & in 2012, there were 70 walks around the country, with over 62,000 participants taking part in every state & territory of Australia.
Our event will kick off from the Fernvale Futures Centre (located just off the Brisbane Valley Hwy in Fernvale), with registrations commencing at 8:30am sharp (if you haven't already pre-registered online beforehand). The Walk is set to take off from 9am & will be for approximately 3-4kms along the BVRT; incorporating the return back to the Fernvale Futures Centre. Fernvale is the gateway to the beautiful Somerset Region & is a rough half-hour's drive from Ipswich Central.
The Walk is for DOGS ONLY. No other pets are permitted (RSPCA guidelines). All persons walking (with or without a dog) must register & the fees are as below:

We ask that people bring their own bottles of water however, light refreshments (cold water, juice, tea/coffee) will be provided at the Fernvale Futures Centre before & after the Walk. Water bowls & water will be provided by the Walk coordinators for all dogs participating in the event.
