Wivenhoe Dam






Come and visit Lake Wivenhoe for a wide range of  activities. The Lake at over twice the size of Sydney Harbour offers spectacular views.

 Day areas at Cormorant Bay, Spillway common  and Logans Inlet are available for picnics, barbecues, walking or just taking in the sights.
Camping is available at Captain Logan Camp and Lumley Hill. Boating  with non-powered craft and fishing  are popular pastimes here  though permits are required.

SEQ Water have an information centre  near the end of the Dam wall  and boating and fishing permits are available here as well as at other Visitor Information Centres in the Region.
